Action Metal Recyclers Open Coopers Plains Yard

Action Metal Recyclers are proud to announce a further expansion of the company with the opening of their new recycling yard at Coopers Plains in Brisbane.

The new yard, located at Selhurst Street and open six days a week including Saturday mornings, is well equipped to meet the demands of both commercial traders and the general public with an on-site weighbridge for certified weighing and acceptance of all types of ferrous and non-ferrous metals for recycling.

The Coopers Plains facility is also the new primary location for the company's shredders and balers and is conveniently located close to major transport corridors servicing the Australian eastern seaboard.

With the opening of the new recycling yard, Action Metal Recyclers is able to further expand their wide range of metal recycling services, including car body removals and scrap metal bin hire for a ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

Action Tyre Recyclers Now Open!

As an integral part of our company's expansion plans, Action Metal Recyclers is proud to announce that our new, fully licenced tyre recycling facility is now operational at 173 Queens Road Kingston.

Satisfying an ever-increasing demand for services of this type in the south-east Qld market, Action Tyre Recyclers have machinery and equipment available on-site at our Logan City yard to recycle a wide range of tyres including all types of automotive and heavy transport products.

Action Metal Recyclers Open Two New Yards

The management and staff of Action Metal Recyclers are proud to announce the first of their expansion plans are now in place, opening two new yards at Wacol and Toowoomba recently to compliment their main site and head office at Kingston in Logan City.

The two new yards are both equipped with weighbridges, which are available to commercial traders and the general public, and both accept all types of ferrous and non-ferrous metals for recycling.

Action Metal Recyclers Join Aceways Autogear Racing

Leading Qld metal recycling company Action Metal Recyclers has joined Aceways Autogear Racing in an exciting new partnership for the 2007/08 Australian Speedway racing season, a partnership that will see the company support the Qld-based sprintcar team in it's quest for Championship success around the country this season.

In announcing the partnership, Aceways Autogear Racing team principle Steve Thorley was excited at the prospect of promoting the Action Metal Recyclers brand not only in Qld but at racing venues throughout NSW, Victoria and South Australia.

With one pre-season practise night at Brisbane International Speedway already under their belts, the Aceways Autogear Racing sprintcar team open their 2007/08 season at Mac's Speedway in Mackay on September 21/22 where they take on some of Australia's best racers in Dumesny, Brazier and Farr in the second annual running of the Morvale Sprintcar Spectacular. The event will be the first of close to fifty nights of racing the team have on their schedule this season.

Wanless, Breakspear Get Together For Some Action!

Qld automotive, dismantling and metal recycling identities Todd Wanless and Peter Breakspear have entered into an exciting partnership together, with Wanless purchasing a share of the successful Action Metal Recyclers business recently.

Wanless was excited at the prospect of extending his interests within the metal recycling industry. "My family has been involved in the industry for over thirty years now and I've known Peter for some time through various business dealings, so when the opportunity arose to join him in the Action Metal Recyclers yard I knew that it was something that I wanted to do."
